Harspa-Water

Stay on trend with this supernatural artwork by Emma-Leone Palmer.

Spiralling across each of the large-scale works is a seemingly chaotic entanglement of neon wires, symbolising the complexity of our thoughts and the digital information we receive and process on a daily basis. To create her celestial pieces, Emma allows her subjects to interact organically with pliable lighting strips and neon wires before painting with a colour palette similar to that used for infrared photography.

The former Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year contestant says: “This is where I am most me, where I thrive and feel most alive. Everything else feels like white noise.”
