The 4th Monkey

Keith's works are created with graphite, oil, acrylic and pastel and explore themes of family values, trust, love and friendship. Keith has added subtle earth tones to his usual monochromatic palette, adding: “They are a touch surreal in a dark and beautiful way.”

“Again this is Avarice inspired. It's a guy again, long hair, beard. This ones about how we are all totally absorbed in social media and the effects it has. Instead of carrying a cross the guy is carrying a large 'f' (Facebook) he has Twitter birds around his head one of the birds has 'crapped' on the words 'freedom of speech' he has a phone on his upper arm with words like 'troll, bully etc'. On his chest are the words, he hears nobody, speaks to nobody, sees nobody, this refers to how people in cafes, pubs, restaurants are so self-absorbed in their phones.”
