Duet

This beautiful piece sees Lawrence explore a new colour palette and subject matter. The cool mistiness of the lake evokes the still silence of morning, broken only by the swan's powerful wing beats.

Lawrence says: "I feel a very spiritual connection with my surroundings – not just the sights, but the sounds and smells. I can walk out into huge vistas with towering skies, or absorb myself in silent trees and foliage."

A giclée is a printing process which creates a richness, accuracy and depth of colour through microscopic dots of pigment-based ink, ensuring the fidelity of the print to the original artwork.
