Last Of The Summer Wine

Last Of The Summer Wine

This is Lawrence's favourite piece from his spring 2014 collection. It depicts a calm allotment, offering people an escape from the stresses of their urban environment.

He says: “People tell me they buy my art for an escape. They are trapped in offices or away from nature, and if I can transport them somewhere else, even briefly, then I've done my job.”

A giclée is a printing process which creates a richness, accuracy and depth of colour through microscopic dots of pigment-based ink, ensuring the fidelity of the print to the original artwork.
