We Can Dream

Lawrence's Through All Seasons collection takes viewers on a grand tour of the British landscape, depicting countryside and coastal scenes guaranteed to evoke happy memories.

The artist has been likened to a modern-day J.M.W. Turner, who was an English Romantic painter, watercolourist and printmaker celebrated for his imaginative landscapes. Working in oils, he uses his hands, fingers and a fine brush to move the paint around and push one tone into another.

He says: "Collectors have described my work as 'escapist', 'romantic' and 'melancholy'. I am interested in what the pieces make the viewer feel, and what they can draw out of the painting."
